iNSIDEoUT Advisors

Corrin Donahue teaches English to some amazing (and independently-minded) students at Southern Durham High School, where she's also the GSA advisor. Corrin doesn't stick to the usual classroom model. In class, her students have had potlucks, presented free-style slam poetry, written fairy tales free of gender bias, and published three books of poetry. In her spare time, Corrin likes reading books and poems, listening to Ani DiFranco and Melissa Ferrick, and baking bread. Amy Glaser thinks teenagers have extraordinary potential to create social change. She is thrilled to be working with the youth in iNSIDEoUT, some of the most incredible people she knows, and to help them articulate and go after their awe-inspiring goals.
