Gay-Straight Alliances (GSAs) are student-led high school clubs that aim to provide a safe space and an open, comfortable environment for everyone, especially youth who are lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning, or allied. There are several thousand GSAs around the world, and more than a dozen GSA Networks (networks of GSAs - like us!). All GSAs are different - some simply provide support and a hangout space for youth from diverse backgrounds, while others take on more meaningful activist projects such as working to change school policy.
