iNSIDEoUT encourages you to take advantage of the leadership opportunities within our organisation and hopes you will become active in directing the queer youth movement in the Triangle.

• REGISTER YOUR GSA
  Registering your GSA is the first thing you should do to take an active role in the leadership of iNSIDEoUT. Doing so helps iNSIDEoUT get in touch with you and helps you get in touch with other GSAs and GSA resources. If your school doesn't have a GSA, let us know! We can provide you with resources and aid in starting a GSA in your school.

• ATTEND OPEN BOARD MEETINGS
  iNSIDEoUT is a coalition of LGBTQISA/queer youth that is run by all of its members. Open board meetings let iNSIDEoUT members control the direction of the organisation and provide input on what they want to see happen in iNSIDEoUT.

• CONNECT AND COLLABORATE WITH OTHER GSAS
  Connecting with other people who share your goals can make your GSA stronger. Since many GSA leaders face the same challenges, working together can make running a GSA a little less daunting.

• APPLY FOR A LEADERSHIP POSITION ON THE iNSIDEoUT YOUTH BOARD
  The iNSIDEoUT youth board is the central executive body of iNSIDEoUT, using input from open board meetings throughout the year to advance the queer youth movement in the Triangle.' A new board is chosen each spring for the coming year.
